The University of Alaska- One Year Tuition Waivers
To enhance the diversity of its international student population, University of Alaska Anchorage will offer three one-year tuition waivers to the first three non-sister-city international students to apply and be accepted to UAA for the Fall, 2009 semester with a referral from an EducationUSA advisor. You can find a list of sister cities at http://www.uaa.alaska.edu/futurestudents/residency.cfm. and request the referral form from Doni Williams at doni@uaa.alaska.edu. It can be submitted by e-mail, fax, or postal mail after the student has applied and obtained a student identification number. Admission information can be found on the UAA International Student Services web site. Students will have to show the full amount of resources - $26,415.00 (to insure they can continue after the first year), but the actual cost to the student for that year will drop to an estimated $14679.
