Announcement for 2011 Global Undergraduate Exchange Program and 2011 Undergraduate Intensive English Language Study Program The Office of Academic Exchange Programs in the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA/A/E) and the US Embassy are pleased to announce two exchange programs for undergraduate students. The Global UGRAD Program provides scholarships for one semester or one academic year of US study in a non-degree program. The Goal of the program is to provide a diverse group of emerging student leaders, from non-elite and under-represented groups in East Asia, with a substantive exchange experience at a US college or university. The Office of Academic Exchange Programs in the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) is soliciting applicants for a new eight-week Undergraduate Intensive English Language Study Program. The Undergraduate Intensive English Language Study program will enroll undergraduate students from underserved disadvantaged sectors in EAP who demonstrate the potential to become student leaders, in eight-week intensive language courses at colleges and universities in the United States. It will also provide them with an introduction to American institutions, society and culture. Relevant information and application form can be viewed and drawn herewith.
